WCSO: Searching for suspects responsible for car burglaries, stole loaded gun

SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - According to officials with the Walton County Sheriff's Office (WCSO), suspects broke into 13 unlocked vehicles early Tuesday morning. They allegedly stole a computer, camera, cash and a loaded gun.

WCSO Investigators said they're also looking into multiple burglaries in the Cypress Breeze subdivision and Watersound North. They believe they might be related.

Detectives looked at video cameras in both communities and said they saw suspects checking door handles and rummaging through vehicles.

Officials said they urge everyone to hide their belongings, lock their doors, and take their keys even if they're just running a quick errand.
