Good Wednesday morning everyone!
It's a relatively quiet start for us on VIPIR 7 Doppler Radar this morning. There's only a few stray light sprinkles passing through the deep south this morning under a mostly cloudy sky. If we do happen to catch one of these stray light showers, they'll be quick hitters and hardly worth bringing the umbrella for.
It's a warm front that's lifting to the north in the Southeast that's trying to generate a stray shower for us today. We should see the heaviest rain remain north of the front, but a stray shower will still be possible south of the front in the warm and humid air. I think we'll see a handful of small stray light showers pop up over NWFL in the afternoon when we reach our maximum daytime heating as well.
Temperatures are mild under the clouds as we're closer to 60 this morning. We'll still have a mild day under the mostly cloudy skies today as warm air gets pumped up on a southerly breeze today. Highs will reach the mid to upper 70s, and we'll go warmer even into tomorrow with highs pushing up to near 80. But a cold front will be passing through late in the day tomorrow and a few more showers will pass through tomorrow as the front sinks southeast.
Cooler and much drier air will then settle in for the rest of the week and weekend where we finally see a taste of seasonal weather with highs near 70.
For today, mostly cloudy skies with a light stray shower possible. Highs today will reach the mid 70s. Your VIPIR 7 Day Forecast will feature another small shot at a few showers tomorrow with a beautiful stretch of weather for the upcoming weekend.
