Woman arrested after allegedly spray-painting boyfriend's name in Pilcher Park

SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A DeFuniak Springs woman is accused of causing thousands of dollars of damage after deputies say she spray-painted her boyfriend's name on Pilcher Park.

The Walton County Sheriff's Office arrested Brittany Clenney, 28, for felony criminal mischief.

Deputies say Tuesday morning a county employee called about graffiti in Pilcher Park. Deputies say there were hearts, Clenney's names, monograms, and smiley faces on items in the park. They say, "John Ryan Wilson you stole my heart," was also written in purple spray-paint on one of the Clyde B. Well's Bridge columns.

Deputies say Clenney's graffiti caused $10,000 worth of damage.

Deputies say they were able to quickly identify Clenney as a suspect and when they arrived to speak with her, she had purple spray paint on her arm.
