PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - The Panama City Police Department and the Panama City Fire Department responded to an apparent stabbing on 23rd Street late Monday night.
Panama City Police Sergeant, Chris Taylor, tells us a middle-aged woman was found with a stab wound in the chest in the Captain D's parking lot.
Law Enforcement officials are working to figure out what led up to the stabbing, but they say the woman did not appear to be stabbed at Captain D's.
They believe she was walking to Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center. The suspect and victim's identity have not yet been released.
The woman's injuries reportedly do not appear life-threatening.
