ZooWorld offers unique photo op with Santa

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A special guest is keeping the animals company at ZooWorld in Panama City Beach for a couple more days.

Santa is taking pictures Cajun style with kids as they touch "Buddy" the alligator.

Some were skeptical at first, but realized it wasn't too bad.

Ten-year-old Elijah Smith from Missouri said he enjoyed the experience.

"Well I've never really got to pet an alligator. The only time I've really seen an alligator was on TV," he explained.

You can take pictures with Santa at ZooWorld Saturday from 12 to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All you have to do is pay admission and bring your cell phone or camera. Pictures are free. Saturday you can also carve an ice sculpture for free from 11a.m. to 3 p.m.
