Arnold basketball playing shorthanded for the next few games

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla (WJHG/WECP) - The Arnold High School boys basketball team will be playing a bit shorthanded for at least the next few games.

Arnold head coach Robert Britton confirming Monday he's suspended five varsity players for violating team rules.

The suspensions include a week suspension from school, so the players cannot participate in any extra curricular actitivity during that suspension. The coach says after that the players will have to apply to be reinstated to the team, which won't be automatic.

So the players will definitely miss games against South Walton, North Bay Haven and St. Joe and perhaps next week's big district home game against Rutherford.
