Blountstown selects Beau Jackson as its football coach

BLOUNTSTOWN, Fla (WJHG/WECP) - There's another move on the high school coaching front Friday.

Another area school's finding its next head football coach.

On Thursday Bozeman named Arnold assistant Jason Griffin as the Bucks next head coach. And on Friday, news came out Blountstown's named Beau Johnson as the guy to replace Greg Jordan, who moved south to Port St. Joe last month.

Johnson was the Defensive Coordinator for the Tigers last year, his second stint as an assistant with Blountstown. In between he was an assistant coach at Taylor County.

The school board approving Johnson's hire Thursday, he'll start the job officially Monday.
