GAINESVILLE, Fla (WJHG/WECP) - Over in Gainesville for the first time in several days, Florida head football coach Jim McElwain's meeting with the media.
McElwain says his in-state players and their families weathered the storm ok, and they are working now to prepare for the Tennessee game on Saturday.
"You know I know playing this game, our campus officials, our administration, city officials, city government felt like this could be a go, and we're gonna make it happen," Jim McElwain, Florida football coach said. "I hope that it gives the people of the state of Florida, folks in this area, a couple of hours of, something to take their minds off of, as they recover, what they've gone through."

Florida will need to have a good game plan ready for Tennessee, who now has two games under its belts.
