WJHG-TV NewsChannel 7, the NBC affiliate and #1 news source for the Panama City, Florida market, and WECP-TV, the CBS affiliate, are looking for a Producer/Web Producer to join our award-winning morning news team. We are seeking qualified candidates who have a passion for news gathering, and can quickly produce content on air and online. The ideal candidate has great writing skills and solid news judgment. Candidates should be able to think quickly under deadlines, with strong leadership and organizational skills. Someone who can multi-task, while paying attention to details and accuracy, is a must. Candidates should have a good understanding of how morning news is delivered on multiple platforms, including social media, and technical skills to work in a competitive newsroom environment. This job requires overnight hours, and a creative thinker who can bring fresh energy to our number one morning news team.

Job Requirements
-A BA/BS degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or related field.
-Prior professional experience in a newsroom is preferred.
-Strong professional social media skills.
-Must be able to work effectively under pressure.
-Must have excellent communication skills and get along well with co-workers.
-Solid technical and computer skills, and understanding of how content is turned on multiple media platforms.
