Convicted man wants a new trial

Last Updated: 2:48 PM 05/06/08 - A local man, convicted of sexual battery for having consensual sex with a 15-year-old girl, says he's innocent and did not get a fair trial. Late last month, Circuit Judge Michael Overstreet sentenced 39-year-old Rodney Davis to eight years in prison for the crime. Newschannel 7 interviewed Davis in jail Monday, and Davis says he was deceived by the girl and her mother. (Full Story)
