Thieves Target Expensive Purses at Destin Store

DESTIN, Fla. The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break-in at a Destin store early Sunday morning, January 26th which resulted in up to $75,000 in stolen merchandise.

An alarm went off around 5:40 a.m. Sunday at LuxExchange, located at 36150 Emerald Coast Parkway, Suite 103. A responding deputy found someone had forced their way in through the front main door and also ransacked an office inside.

The owner estimated an initial loss of one-hundred purses and a $25,000 set of Louis Vuitton luggage.
