CALLAWAY - Covenant Hospice is teaming up with the Art Garden for the annual Junior Mask Project.
This is the 10th year children from ages five to twelve were given the chance to create their own mask.
The masks will be donated to a silent auction at the Mask Parade Gala on March 29th. Organizers say the event allows kids to get involved in the community.
"It's not just about seeing them be creative, but it's about seeing them understand that their giving back that they are helping someone in need," said Nanisa Anderson with the Junior Mask Project.
Kohls donated $500 to Saturday's event. The masks will help raise money for the children support service at Covenant Hospice.
