A four-wheeler crash Wednesday night in Geneva County just north of the florida state line killed a Hartford man and injured another.

Mason Joel Walding, 24, and Nathaniel Brock Rainey, 27, both of Hartford were traveling on a 2007 Honda Rancher when they crashed.

The Alabama Highway Patrol initial investigation indicates that Walding was traveling on Millville Road over the posted speed limit when he lost control and crashed in a field. Walding and Rainey, who were not wearing helmets, were both ejected off the four-wheeler.

Walding was pronounced dead at the scene. Rainey was transported to Flowers hospital by Hartford Rescue where he is being treated for his injuries.
