Rescue Teams Search Through Rubble in Florida

Florida search and rescue teams are heading out to the areas hit hardest by Hurricane Ivan and its side effects. They're trying to find anyone hurt or killed by the fierce weather.

Ivan spun a number of tornadoes in the area, and its strong winds tore apart homes and buildings. A number of low-lying areas were also flooded by heavy rains and massive storm surges.

Ivan is being blamed for at least eight deaths in Florida, including that of a little girl who was killed when a tree fell on her mobile home.

The storm has also knocked out electricity to some 300,000 homes and businesses, including a shelter housing 1,700 evacuees.
