Debris Collection

Bay County has established two temporary collection centers for yard debris generated by Hurricane Ivan.

Starting Saturday the former city transfer station located at 1690 Bay Avenue in PC behind the PCPD will be open for people in the eastern portion of the county.

For residents of the west portion of the county, Steelfield Road landfill located at 11411 Landfill Road in West Bay will be open.

The two temporary yard debris facilities are only for yard debris; no construction and demolition debris, no hazardous waste or household garbage, appliances or electronics.
