Indoor Pot Farm Busted

Hurricane Ivan may be responsible for the discovery of an indoor marijuana growing facility in Mary Esther.

Arrested on charges of Cultivation of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia was Michael Shannon "Stache" Kelly, age 34, of 10 Macy Lane, Mary Esther.

A fully-equipped marijuana growing room, complete with lighting, fertilizer, oxygen, and 78 individual marijuana plants under cultivation was discovered when Kelly's landlord arrived to begin Hurricane Ivan repairs.

The tenant had been given notice to vacate the damaged premises and was told the landlord would be inspecting the property.
