Panama City police say a man was stabbed in the back during a domestic dispute Sunday morning.
Officers say they first arrived at the Pinewood Village apartment complex off 19th Street in Panama City in response to a dispute over a child.
Panama City police arrested 43-year-old Margaret Davis.
Investigators say she and a man named Christopher Jackson got into an argument Sunday. It happened when Jackson came to pick up his son, Davis' grandson, at her house on West 19th Street. During the fight, police say Davis grabbed a knife and stabbed Jackson once in the forehead and several times in the back.
According to the officers, Jackson was stabbed at the Pinewood Village apartments and then drove to another house on West 22nd just a couple of blocks away before the police arrived.
Officers say Jackson was taken to the hospital for the stabbing injuries. He is still in the hospital recovering from his wounds.
Davis is in the Bay County Jail awaiting her first appearance before a judge.
