Catholic Charity's Pantry Is Almost Bare

When locals are in need, many people head to Catholic Charities for assistance, but because of the overwhelming demand after Hurricane Ivan, food supplies are scarce at the service organization.

The timing couldn't be worse for those who work at Catholic Charities. The fall season and the holidays are usually the busiest times.

But hope isn't lost. Sheila Harmon says there is a way you can help.

“If people can use it in their households, we can use it here for the households we serve. Non perishable foods, diapers, cleaning products, personal hygiene items, soap and the like are always needed. All of those things are really helpful and massively distributed here through Catholic Charities."

They are located at 3128 East 11th Street in Panama City.
