The Deadline Is Drawing Near if You Want to Register to Vote

Updated: Fri 9:01 PM, Oct 01, 2004

If you are not already a registered voter, you only have two days left to register to vote in the November General Election.

Close to 100,000 people are already registered to vote in Bay County, and elections officials say that’s a record. New voters are turning out in record numbers as well to register. Population vote is just one main reason for the high number of voters.

Supervisor of Elections Mark Andersen will be at the Home Depot on 23rd Street in Panama City Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. registering people who want to vote.

You last chance in Monday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Supervisor of Elections Office on Mosley Drive in Lynn Haven. The books for prospective voters closed at 5 p.m. Monday.
