Funeral arrangements are being made for a DeFuniak Springs man who has been killed in Iraq.
On September 28, 40-year-old Roger Ellis Moffett was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq. He worked as a private contractor with the Halliburton Corporation.
Moffett graduated from Freeport High School and served 16 years in the Air Force.
Survivors are his parents, a son, and a brother and sister.
A public memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 10 at the Calvary Baptist Church in DeFuniak Springs.
