The weather was perfect for the 10th annual SpringFest at the Harborwalk village in Destin.
On the Coast Magazine and many area sponsors turned the streets of the Harbor Walk village into a family friendly festival on Saturday and Sunday.
The event had almost 40 vendors set up that provided fun for hours to children of all ages.
The children could decorate angel wings or masks, grow their own beanstalk, listen to music, and even try on a former Miss USA’s crown and sash.
The publisher of on the coast magazine, Nancy Babin said, "One of the unique aspects of our festival this year is that we have incorporated Operation Smile, and that is where you can come down and get a professional portrait taken and the 24 dollars that it costs for that portrait goes 100 percent to help children with clef pallet and clef lips and things like that."
About 5,000 people attended the festival.
