One person died Thursday in a two car crash on Highway 98 in South Walton County.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers identified the fatality as 74-year-old John W. King of Santa Rosa Beach.
King, according to troopers, was headed east on US 98 when he crossed the paved median and struck another car head on.
The driver of the second car, 49-year-old Vicki Rosenberg of Germantown, Tennessee and her 17-year-old son Kyle were injured.
The injured were taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola by AirHeart. The accident investigation is continuing.
