The Panama City Downtown Improvement Board is in search of a new director.
David Jackson has abruptly resigned as the DIB Executive Director, effective Friday. Jackson offered no explanation for his decision to "move on."
In his seven-year reign as director, Jackson supervised what has been a remarkable revitalization of the downtown area of Panama City.
His resignation indicated he will remain in Bay County, but his future plans were not revealed.
The DIB has added a “director search” to its agenda for next week's regular meeting.
