Would your children be able to escape a would-be kidnapper? Florida's Attorney Gen. Charlie Crist says they can if they follow some easy tips.
Crist was in Bay County this week promoting “Escape School,” a plan that teaches children and parents how to recognize deceptive practices of a would-be kidnapper. It also demonstrates escape tactics children can use in case of abduction.
Crist told a packed meeting at the Bay County School Board offices, "I think we always have to be vigilant about our children, do everything we can to make them more safe, but certainly when a tragic situation such as Carlie Brucia case occurs, it refocuses and redoubles our efforts to make sure we stay vigilant about it always."
