The Panama City Beach Police Department says they arrested a homeless woman accused of trying to steal TVs from a vacant beach motel.
Fifty-seven-year-old Cheryl Taube was charged with three counts of burglary and one count felony trespassing on a construction site. According to police, Taube was found at 8:15 Saturday night sleeping in a room at the vacant Island Breeze Motel on Front Beach Road.
Earlier in the day Taube had attempted to steal three TV sets from the property and was confronted by several witnesses according to the police. She left the TVs but came back later and was then found by officers according to the police.
