A Rutherford High School student could face criminal charges after allegedly sticking a number of classmates with a straight pin.
School officials say they suspended the 16-year-old after he was caught with the pin attached to a piece of balsa wood.
He had reportedly “spanked" 11 students with the weapon. The students were sent home and advised to get blood tests.
It will be up to their parents whether or not to file criminal charges with the Springfield Police Department or the Bay County Sheriff's Department.
