A Cedar Grove couple is facing child neglect and animal abuse charges for allegedly leaving some dogs inside of a filthy home.
Panama City police arrested 47-year-old Larry David Robbins and his 39-year-old wife Vicki Renee Robbins.
They say the Robbins left several animals inside of their home for 10 days. Neighbors called police because of the smell.
Authorities say the conditions inside of the home were so bad they had to use air tanks just to breathe.
Two of the dogs were confined in a cage with no food or water.
The home was reportedly full of rotten food, animal waste and so many boxes of junk, there was no place to sit or lie down.
Authorities charged the two with child neglect for allowing their children to live in that environment.
A judge set $5,000 bonds for both of the Robbins.
