Panama City Beach's oldest golf course may go the way of the rest of the Emerald Coast. The land where Signal Hill Golf Course is located is selling for an estimated $75 million.

A Destin developing company should close on the property around the first of December. The group wants to build resort-like condominiums on the property.

The Destin developing group still has to buy out the golf course's lease before breaking ground on the condos. The Pledger’s, one of the beach’s founding families, owns the 140 acres.
