A 56-year-old wheelchair-bound woman in Milton here in the Florida Panhandle died in a nighttime house fire.
Three other adults and a three-year-old child fled to safety.
Fire investigators say the other residents were unable to get Cynthia Hoodless outside.
The fire started in a bedroom not used by the victim. The cause of the fire in the wood frame house in Santa Rosa County hasn't been released.
