The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is looking for the suspect in an early Wednesday morning shooting in Fort Walton Beach.
They're looking for 31-year-old Malrik Cordale Boose, Jr. Investigators say Boose shot 21-year-old Steven Thomas Barnes just after midnight outside of a Ft. Walton Beach home on Shady Lane.
Barnes' cousin Jennifer Jackson lives in the house. She and Boose have a child together.
Deputies haven't released a motive for the shooting, but they say Barnes will recover.
They arrested the alleged getaway driver, 44-year-old Charles Wesley Banks, charging him with being an accessory to attempted murder, but authorities are still looking for Boose.
