FBI officials are offering a reward of as much as $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of an ousted Escambia County commissioner believed to be on the run.
Willie Junior is thought to have fled to avoid criminal sentencing in his corruption case.
A U.S. magistrate signed a federal warrant for Junior, charging him with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
Junior has not been seen since November 9. He disappeared a day before he was scheduled to be sentenced on charges, including racketeering, bribery and extortion.
Junior's wife, Abbie, told investigators she believed her husband has fled the area.
Junior pleaded no contest to charges arising from a county corruption scandal after reaching a plea agreement with prosecutors in September 2002.
