Should Lynn Haven Terms in Office Be Four instead of Two Years?

The city of Lynn Haven is getting ready to ask the voters whether they want the mayor and city commissioners to stay in office longer.

The commission will meet Tuesday night to talk about the limits and will have a final reading of the ballot question which will allow city voters to determine whether the mayor and commissioners should stay in office for four years instead of two.

Lynn Haven officials say campaigns can interfere with government business and increasing the length of term in office could actually limit the conflict.
