A longtime member of the Panama City and Dothan, Alabama business communities has died.
William Nomberg died at Flowers Hospital in Dothan Tuesday evening. He was 78.
Nomberg was a veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict.
He owned retail clothing businesses and a clothing manufacturing mill called Wex-Tex.
Wex-Tex has four south Alabama locations employing 1,000 people.
The Nomberg family also owns and operates the Treasure Island Marina and the Treasure Ship Restaurant on Thomas Drive on Panama City Beach.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. this Thursday, at Temple Emanuel in Dothan.
