Bay County is growing by leaps and bounds and one of the fastest growing areas is the Highway 77 corridor.
Bay district schools anticipated that growth in the late 90s when they built the Bozeman Learning Center in the Sand Hills, but district officials now say Bozeman will be full by the beginning of the 2007-2008 school year.
At that point, school Superintendent James McAllister says Bozeman will no longer be able to accept students who don't live in Bay County. Until then, southern Washington County families can still send their children to Bozeman or the kids can go to other Bay district schools that won't be overpopulated.
About 140 Washington County children are currently attending Bozeman.
