Two missing boaters we told you about have been found thanks to efforts by the Coast Guard and Fish and Wildlife crews who spent more than three hours searching for them.
Authorities say a couple in their 30s left Mexico Beach around two in the afternoon in a 16-foot inflatable boat. They were supposed to meet friends on Cape San Blas for a cookout at dinnertime, but never showed up.
A Fish and Wildlife crew found them on land at the east end of Crooked Island Beach next to Tyndall Air Force Base around 12:15 Sunday Morning. That's in the opposite direction of Cape San Blas.
Their names and the circumstances surrounding their disappearance have not been released.
