You would have thought it was the holiday season by the crowds lined up outside the Panama City Mall before sunrise Saturday.
They weren't there to do shopping, but rather play games. Video game enthusiasts from as far away as Louisiana were in the Center Court for some friendly competition.
More than 300 gamers gathered to play the popular X-Box video game, "Halo Two." The tournament was sponsored by 97-X.
Organizers say the number of players and spectators was that of a national tournament. Roughly $2,000 was awarded to the winners.
