Retired Army veteran Robert Hill held a book signing Saturday at Oakland Terrace Park.
It's the same park where he came up with the idea for his children's book titled "Where Do Sea Creatures Sleep?"
Hill says the book is a result of a conversation with a few children in the park.
Hill may be a soldier, but talking kids’ language is nothing new to him.
Robert Hill says, "Octopus with hair rollers in their head and sea horses with cowboy hats. It was just something out of their fantasy that was taken into heart and I put it down in words."
This book is not Hill's first title, just the first one that he's able to publish. He has 19 other books under his belt, many that he wrote while serving as a soldier in Iraq.
