Bay County sheriff’s investigators are looking for a man who’s using a stolen credit card, and they could use your help.
This is surveillance video of the suspect using the stolen card at a store in Destin.
The card belonged to some people who live at Bay Point. Between 10-pm December 16th and 2-am December 17th the Bay Point home was burglarized while the owners were asleep. The thief cut the screen door, went inside and stole the woman’s purse.
By 7:30 that morning, the credit card company was calling about some unusual purchases. But by that time, the thief had already used the credit card about a dozen times in Bay, Walton, and Okaloosa Counties.
One of the buys was a gift card that was redeemed later that day in Andalusia, Alabama.
The suspect is a young white male. He is wearing a black sweat shirt with the Nike emblem on the left breast. Investigators believe he is driving a maroon colored SUV.
If you have any information about this case, please call the Bay County Sheriff’s Office at 747-4700.
