The road to the White House passed through Bay County Wednesday.
About 400 locals enthusiastically greeted republican presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani at Gulf Coast Community College.
Giuliani promoted a new "simplified" tax form, which comes after his announcement of one of the largest tax decreases in history.
He also detailed his plans for ending illegal immigration and boosting the number of military.
Giuliani has been campaigning heavily in Florida, and is banking on a successful win in the upcoming primary.
"This election is very important and I need your help,” Giuliani said. “And with your help and support, we will win the Republican nomination, and we will win the presidency, and we'll move this country in a direction of strength, security, prosperity, and growth. These are the cornerstones of what I want to do."
After Wednesday's rally, Giuliani headed to Pensacola for an appearance.
Thursday morning at 8:30, he'll be in Fort Walton Beach for a rally at the Magnolia Grill.
