An adult spring breaker visiting Panama City Beach has learned a hard lesson. It is not safe to do a handstand on a balcony railing, especially if it’s on a fourth floor condo.
Paramedics and Bay County sheriff's deputies were called out Saturday night at the Pelican Walk Condominiums on Thomas Drive.
Witnesses say the 30-year-old man had been drinking when he fell from the fourth floor.
He apparently landed on his feet as he tumbled to the ground. The good news is he hit a grassy area rather than a nearby cement sidewalk.
The man’s identity had not been released, and neither has the blood alcohol level.
