Two Chipola students are getting national attention this week, named to an elite team.
USA Today newspaper named 20-year-olds Amanda Paige Rentz and Lauren Eade to its all-USA community and junior college academics first team.
Both have a 4.0 grade point average and are heavily involved in extra-curricular activities.
Eade is studying interior design and historical restoration. Rentz is studying journalism and American literature. Both received a trophy and a $2,500 cash award in Boston Monday.
Congratulations to both.
