B-52 Pilot Jailed for Home Invasion

An Air Force pilot is facing a number of charges in connection with a break-in at a Port St. Joe home.

Gulf County authorities arrested 29-year-old John Carlos Perrys about 6:00 Tuesday night.

They say he broke into a Port St. Joe home, covered his head with a ski mask, and severely beat the female home owner. The woman was hospitalized.

Sources tell NewsChannel 7 that Perrys is a B-52 pilot based out of Bossier City, Louisiana.

He's being held without bond in the Gulf County Jail on charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, burglary and wearing a mask during a felony.

Port St. Joe Police sat more charges are expected.
