Local Man Loses Appeal in Sex Case

There's bad news for local sexual predator Benjamin Coker.

He is the Callaway man who was sent to prison for 240 years for molesting three young girls.

He videotaped the sex acts, and had intended to sell those tapes.

After Coker entered plead to 14 molestation charges, Bay County Circuit Judge Don T. Sirmons put him in prison for 240 years.

Since then, Coker has tried to change his plea and has challenged his sentence, but to no avail.

Thursday, without comment, the First District Court of Appeals in Tallahassee affirmed the lower court’s rulings.
