The Bay County Sheriff's Department has called in dozens of volunteers to help in the search for Pam Biggers. The Alabama woman, who was here on business over the weekend, was last seen Sunday night at the La Quinta Inn hotel on Thomas Drive in Panama City Beach.
Over 40 volunteers from Bay County Search and Rescue have now joined in the hunt for the 52-year-old Mrs. Biggers. She vanished without a trace Sunday, leaving everything behind including her car.
Crews have been working hard all morning, looking for any clues that may explain her disappearance.
Bay County Search and Rescue is now diligently searching for her. Again this morning, crews marched into the thick woods behind the hotel where the Hueytown, Alabama resident was last seen nearly 3-days ago.
Kerry Dutton of Search and Rescue laid out the plan for the volunteers.
"We're going to spread out in a straight line down through here and we're going to keep in the line of sight. When we spot something, we radio back to command and they come check it out.”
Dozens of trained volunteers are braving chilling winds, looking for any indication that the Alabama woman may have passed through here. And they have high hopes as they continue their search.
