Man Arrested in South Carolina in Killing of Panama City Teen

Police say a man charged with fatally stabbing a teenager in Panama City is behind bars in South Carolina where he was arrested.

Police reports say 22-year-old Darrius Terrell of Hallandale Beach was arrested in South Carolina after he walked into a business and told an employee he was wanted for a killing.

Panama City police Sgt. Kevin Miller says the south Florida man was in jail in Barnwell, about 70 miles south of Columbia, South Carolina. He'll remain there pending his extradition on an open count of murder for the May 20 death of Tristen Robinson.

Prosecutors or a Bay County grand jury will review the case to determine a specific charge.

A crowd gathered to watch the pair argue at an apartment complex in St. Andrew a week and a half ago, and then police say the argument turned physical. The victim was stabbed in the chest with a large kitchen knife.
