A response to Lee in Panama City: Your rather judgmental response is exactly why many victims of sexual abuse don't have it in them to come forward...for years, or even decades, if ever. These girls were vulnerable minors. This predator was an authority figure who victimized children. It takes a lot of guts for a victim to come forward after such a tramatic experience. This happens to people from all types of families, all types of upbringing. You probably have friends from 'good' families who have been victimized in the past, and you may not even know it. Two of my very best friends were victimized as children and it took years for them to confide in me, a dear friend. I am as outraged as you are. This guy is scum and needs to rot in hell. Let's, as a community, embrace victims like his and leave the judgement out.

Where were the parent(s) of these girls and why has it taken thirty some years for this to come to light? That probally was not his first nor will be his last time. I hope that his current employer, hopefully not with children, has this information.
