A familiar face at the Panama City FSU Campus is saying goodbye.
Dean Ed Wright is retiring after spending the last five years heading up the local FSU branch campus.
Hundreds showed up at a special Monday night gathering to say good-bye.
A portrait was unveiled touting his accomplishments, which included a 75 percent increase in local enrollment, the creation of 13 undergraduate programs and the addition of 30 new resident faculty members.
Wright says he still plans to remain highly active with the local campus including focusing on some consulting opportunities.
He says he and his family will continue to reside in Panama City.
