The chilly this afternoon didn't stop thousands of spring breakers from hitting the beach. The weather was perfect for the arrival of MTVu, which opened up its spring break village for the first day in the two week span they'll be in Panama City. The village is on the beach outside of the Boardwalk Beach Resort.

A stage is set up for different artists and bands that will be playing throughout the next two weeks. MTVu also has several booths from sponsoring companies offering entertainment and giveaways.

MTVu's game lounge is set up inside the boardwalk beach resort. The lounge opens from Sunday to Friday starting at 5 p.m.

This Wednesday the stage will feature live performances by Lupe Fiasco and Flo Rida. On Thursday We the Kings and Paramore will be playing.

During the second week there will be performances by Panic at the Disco, Kid Sister, and Cobra Starship.
