Local Indian nations got together for their annual spring pow wow.
All weekend folks from around the area can experience American Indian culture through their food and dance.
The event is free and open to the public. Money raised from selling crafts and food will go towards the annual Thanksgiving Dinner with the Indians event.
Pow wow participant Robert Sunworlf Dubose says the days activities are more than just a fundraiser because they also get a benefit.
"It's a good get together for all of us where we can dance and enjoy our traditions"
The pow wow is sponsored by the new eagle eye clan. The activities will run until 9 p.m. tonight and tomorrow; Sunday noon until 5 p.m.
