Bond Set For 17 Year Old Facing Murder Charges

Panama City-The 17 year old charged with the murder of a Panama City man earlier in September had his first appearance in court on Saturday.

Jabarus Pittman, although 17, is being charged as an adult.
Authorities say Pittman and two other men, Calvin Grubbs and Ricardo Manning, made plans to rob 41 year old Marc Logan and 32 year old Antonio Edwards.

According to the arrest warrants, Pittman, Grubbs, and Manning, were in possession of a rifle and two small hand-guns.
During the robbery, one of the victims, Marc Logan was shot in the head, and died later in a local hospital. Edwards was shot in the leg and injured.

Pittman has been charged with an open count of murder and conspiracy to commit robbery.
His total bond is set at $225,000.
His next court date is set for October 16th.
